Swatches: Essie Braziliant - Summer 2011

warmvanillasugar0823,Essie Braziliant Collection
Essie came out with their Summer line, in the middle of May. Most of the collection was brights - oranges, corals, fuchsias. Typical summer polishes. These on the other hand, were very unique.
Absolutely Shore is a very pale seafoam green, and Smooth Sailing is a very cool toned blue with a pretty silver shimmer.
These retail for between $8 and $9, and I found mine at CVS, but they can be found in Salons, Beauty Supply Stores and wherever Essie is normally sold.Formula for these was pretty standard Essie. Very pigmented and not difficult to work with. They have an average drying time. I've found that I typically only need 2 coats for Essie polishes.
Since I have narrow finger nails, the small brush isn't a problem for me, but if you have wider or bigger nails than I do, then you'd probably not like the brush that much.

Very pale, seafoam green with the slightest hint of dustiness to it. It's opaque in 2 coats, but just for continuity sake I did 3 coats at the bottom of the nail swatch.

Cool toned slightly darker blue with silver shimmer. The shimmer is almost like a very fine glass fleck. The color reminds me a lot of Lapis of Luxury, which was from Essie's Resort Collection which was for last summer. It's slightly darker than that.
