Lush I Love Juicy Shampoo - Oily Skin (Hair) Series

I actually posted the video to this a while ago and I realized... I never posted a blog post with it!
I'm mainly going to have the links embedded in this post because I talk about all the details in the video (below).
This is a clarifying shampoo and is meant specifically for oily hair. I had never before specifically picked a shampoo for oily hair, and basically used whatever my mom picked up at the drugstore. Whenever I used specific hair products, it was always conditioner. I've used plenty of conditioners but never a specific shampoo.
I finally decided to do this just because it started to get really hot out and then my hair got super gross. My decision to go with Lush was because I wanted to start using more of their line, and so I went for the shampoos. There are other higher end as well as drugstore brands that offer great cleansing shampoos, like Bumble and Bumble or Tres Semme.
Lush is priced more like a higher end shampoo, starting at $9.95 for 3.3 fl oz. Lush offers 3 sizes - $9.95 for 3.3 fl oz, $19.95 for 8.4 fl oz, and then $29.95 for 16.9 fl oz.
This shampoo can be purchased at all Lush stores, as well as Lush online. This link will take you to the Lush USA site :)
More info and photos after the jump!

The shampoo itself smells like mango and lemons mostly. It has a very citrusy scent and it almost smells fizzy. Very refreshing and clean smelling, not in a bad way though. It's like a summer citrus as opposed to a cleaning solution citrus.
It has a slightly watery consistency to it, it's not as thick and goopy as some shampoos can be. It makes me feel like I have to use more than normal. I've found with watery shampoos it just takes a bit more product to really go in and froth up and clean my hair. Like I am one of the "it hurts it's working" sorts, I'm a "if it's frothing, it's working" kind of girl.
It's lasted me quite a while though. I've had it since February or March and I've still got a good inch of product on the bottom.
It does dry out the scalp quite a bit though so if you don't have oily hair, then I would not recommend this for you. I have quite an oily hair, especially in the summer. I don't know if I'm going to use this in the winter when it gets colder, but I definitely will use this as long as it's hot out.
The picture below is a picture of the shampoo in the bottle. It looks a little weird at that angle, especially since it's not a standard shampoo color. It used to be a bit more yellow, and it has turned more orangey as the months have passed. Nothing to worry about though, since Lush products do expire.
