Today's NOTW post is of one of my favorite recent purchases.
I've been on a huge "chunky glitter" kick, and it wouldn't have been complete without a few Deborah Lippmann purchases.
"Today Was A Fairytale" is a sheer, very very pale blue-ish purple jelly base, with tons of silver blue micro glitter and larger hexagonal pieces mixed into it.For a glitter, this applied like a dream. What I have is 3 coats on my nails, and it was a smooth application for all 3 coats. It didn't feel goopy or overly thick and gross after 3 coats either.
I used Nubar's Foundation base coat and Seche Vite on top, which just provided extra shine to an already shine intense nail polish.
This wore a good 5 days on my nails, without chipping only minor tip wear.
Deborah Lippmann can be purchased at Nordstrom and online at her website and retail for about $16 each, although this was $18 because it contains "Virgin Diamond Powder" (which I have no clue what it is, nor what it is used for).
