Whoa... long time no blog! I sincerely apologize that I've been gone for a week! I have had a few things I've had to deal with work and school wise and time got away from me. But I'm back with another NOTW, which I've been slacking on lately.
Today I have a snow globe inspired nail. I know I'm sort of jumping the gun on the winter theme but I've seen all the Christmas stuff out and I've been so into it this past week! And then I saw some of Amarixe's nails and then I went back to one of my favorite winter nail tutorials by Brooke and I came up with this.
This is a base coat of Zoya's Get Even (which is a white ridge filler), then OPI's Alpine Snow which is a white creme. Using Get Even underneath makes getting an opaque white faster and then there isn't a need for 4 coats of white and overly clumpy nails. I followed with a coat of Deborah Lippmann's Staircase To Heaven, and China Glaze's Snow Globe on the 4 non-accent nails to mimic what you'd see in a snow globe.
My accent nail is a coat of OPI's Just Breathe (soft blue iridescent polish) and some blue and white Snowflake Konad. The plate is m59.
I used Seche Vite on top. Enjoy!
