NOTW: Essie "Cocktail Bling"
Today's NOTW post is of Essie's "Cocktail Bling" polish, which was part of their Winter 2011 collection.
It's a stormy gray color with blue undertones and in certain lighting it can look like a light gray-blue, and even have slight lavender tones to it.
This was pretty pigmented in formula - I actually have been getting a lot of mani/pedis recently because I lost my cuticle trimmers. So I get it done and I take in my own polish so I can photograph/catalogue it later (lol). The lady only used 2 coats of the polish and I got an even coverage. Also, since I got it done, I observed they used OPI's Chip Skip for a base coat. I have no idea what the top coat was.
This picture was taken a few days after the manicure. My nails look a little beat up, but it's mostly because the day I got it done, it was that ridiculously stormy day and I had to go clean out the drains. So I put my nails through a lot that day lol.
Essie polishes retail for between $7 and $9 and can be found at drugstores and Ulta.
