I haven't done and official NOTW post on this, even though I posted swatches of it. I just re-painted my nails with it though and it's... so pretty.
You have to use Nfu Oh's Aqua Base. Without it, the polish is a chunky and streaky mess.
When painting this, as I said in my original post about this, it does apply slightly dull, but as it dries, the holo really comes out. It's stunning and truly linear.
I applied 3 coats. With just 2 coats it isn't totally opaque. The 3rd just adds an extra layer of opacity. I also put Seche Vite on top. At first I didn't know if the polish would stay as truly linear and if the polish would dull but luckily it didn't. Holo polishes are easy to chip so adding Seche Vite on top kept it from chipping before I wanted to.
The photo above was after 4 days. You can see the tiny chips along the edge of my middle finger.
Nfu Oh is available on FabulouStreet.com. Both the base and the polish are $12.50 each.
