These polishes are ones that I bought back in September but didn't get photographed in time and just didn't end up on the blog, but they're here now :D The majority of them you can purchase still in stores if you go look, and most of them are drugstore.
There's also some Butter London at the end from the Fall 2012 collection.
Wet N Wild Mega Last Halloween 2012 - Poison Ivy
This was part of the Pick Your Poison collection by Wet N Wild. It's a blackened green shimmer. It was opaque in 2 coats. The brush was short and flat and tapered at the tip, and was a little stiff to work with but didn't hinder the application too much.
The formula wasn't too bad, and was otherwise nothing to note of.
It was about $5 when I purchased it.
L'Oreal Project Runway 2012 Collection The Tempress' Touch
This is a shimmery lime green with a hint of gold to it. I loved the Project Runway collection last year for their blushes, but this year I only picked up 2 polishes because I wasn't really in the mood to pick up anything else from the line lol. They had some awesome blushes and lip products though if you're interested.
This was fully opaque in 2 coats and easy to work with.
L'Oreal Project Runway 2012 Collection The Muse's Attitude
This is a shimmery blackened teal polish. It was more opaque than the other one, and was totally fine at 2 coats.
The L'Oreal polishes were both about $8 each.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Lava
This was part of a very buzzed about collection of multi-chromatic polishes. Lava was the most buzzed about one... it's a red, pink, copper and orange shimmery flecked polish. It's very similar to Mac's Bad Fairy, although not a dupe. This is not quite as reflective as Bad Fairy.
It does remind me a bit more of the OPI Burlesque color that was also red/orange/copper.
Lava was opaque in 2 coats, and is a great layering polish. It's very reflective and bold over a black.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Copperhead
Copperhead is a warm rusty brown with a strong green shimmer to it. It's clearer in the bottle than in the swatches below, but still shows up if you apply it to your nails.
It shows some streaks from brush strokes but that's because of the nature of the polish. It's an almost metallic chrome.
It was opaque in 2 coats.
Revlon Sparkle Aplenty
I think this was part of a fall collection, but I don't quite remember what the display looked like. It's a black jelly base with silver microglitter, and larger black and pearly white hexagonal glitter.
It's very chunky, and not as easy to work with as other Revlon polishes have been... the glitter dragged a little and then when layered got very thick.
It was opaque in 2 coats. And for sure didn't need 3 coats. If you layered it once over a black polish, it'd probably be better.
Blue Cross Jack-O-Lantern Polish Glow In The Dark Pink Glitter
These don't have names so I'm just calling it what I would describe it to be.
This is a baby pink glow in the dark polish. It's consistency is that plastic like almost matte material that glow in the dark materials tend to be. It's got opalescent microglitter and large hex glitter.
It was opaque in 3 coats and got a little thick but glowed pretty well in the dark.
Pink & Silver Glitter Mix
This is a clear base with a pale pink microglitter mixed with a silver microglitter.
It's a standard glitter... great for layering, and can be built up to 3 coats if needed.
Bright Purple Blacklight PolishI don't have a blacklight, so I can't tell you how that works, but it's a pretty polish on it's own. This is a bright warm purple with opalescent microglitter. It layers to be opaque in 3 coats and wasn't a weird or different consistency or anything.
It's almost neon so it does dry semi-matte.
HOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Spelled out, that looks ridiculous lol.
But I'm so excited it's holo!
Dodgy Barnett is a light silver holo. Light as in delicate, not color wise. It's almost linear... possibly just a finely milled speckle, so not necessarily linear but very close to being linear.
This was opaque in 3 coats.
I actually bought the other holo in the Fall collection which you can see here.
Two Fingered Salute
This was the polish I was most excited to show you lol. That's why I put it in the end :D
I think this was at one point exclusive to Nordstrom, but you can purchase it now in other places as well.
It's a sage green creme with rusty colored flecks dispersed throughout it. It's pretty unique and I have nothing like it. Base color wise as well. I don't have many sage green colors. It's one of those colors that would look great if you painted it on your walls.
