NOTW: Essie Bahama Mama

Sooooooooo, you know when everybody talks about something and it's supposed to be the best thing ever and you look for it for like a month and you finally find it and buy it and it's not that awesome? Yeah, that's this polish for me.
It's not that it's not a nice polish, or a nice color, but let's all be honest people, how many brands make this color in this finish?
Essie's Bahama Mama is a dark plummy creme color. It's got some slight brown tones to it but it leans more on the red/purple side.  It's a great color for fall, and OPI as well as China Glaze released similar colors in their Skyfall and Safari collections this year.
The formula was smooth and opaque in 2 coats, and easy to work with as most Essie polishes are.
Again, the reason I'm not overly crazy about this polish is because so many polishes out there are similar to this and that I don't find it to be completely unique and amazing as pretty much everybody else out there is saying. It is though very easy to access and again, great for the fall, so if you're starting your collection pick this one up if you're looking for a good dark color for your nails.
This manicure lasted on me for about a week. I used OPI Nail Envy Original as a base and Out The Door Quick Dry Top Coat.
Essie polishes are available at drugstores and retail for between $7 and $9.
