NOTW: Aqua Dots - Essie Mint Candy Apple

If you search "nail art" into Google Images, this is a really popular that comes up. Dots!
Uniform dots are some of the easiest and most fun types of nail art to do, especially if you vary colors. For a while in the winter, I had a phase of wearing a lot of aqua and mint so I wanted to do something fun with those colors and decided on polka dots.
Instead of just doing white dots across each nail, I decided to accent with a white nail and aqua dots.
The colors I used were Essie's Mint Candy Apple and OPI's Alpine Snow. Using a dotting tool (you can use a toothpick or bobby pin, I suggest bobby pin since it has a rounded nob on the end) I uniformly arranged dots across my nails. It took a little patience but didn't actually take all that much time to do.
This manicure lasted a week - I used OPI Nail Envy as a base coat and Seche Vite on top.
If you're looking for a fun way to use cream polishes, I totally recommend doing dots since it's so easy and cute!
