First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!! I hope you're all having the most amazing and beautiful holiday :))))) You guys are all amazing and I'm so so thankful to you all, especially around the holidays.
Today's polish from Rescue Beauty Lounge is Fashion Polish. This is another collab that Fashion Polish did with a brand. I have another that she did with Picture Polish - I'll have that post up for you all soon. Fashion Polish is one of my very favorite nail blogs though and I can't get enough of her! Her photos are flawless and are such an inspiration.
The color she created with Ji is a dark black base with a sprinkle of reddish pink, a sort of golden green, and possibly a silver? The effect is super galaxy like on the nail - I sort of like the little glimpses of color that peek through. Not completely knowing the color gives it more mystery and for me gives it more depth. Do you guys ever feel that way about something? When it's ambiguous it gives you more space to think the way you wish and it becomes like 1000x more awesome?
Anyways, the formula on this was pretty much the best I've ever gotten with a color like this. It's opaque in pretty much one coat. I used 2 coats for insurance sake - the glitter does sink in a tiny bit and the base doesn't dry super glossy but a top coat fixes both of those. The top coat brings out the shine in the glitter as well as in the polish and brings forth it's full potential.
I had this on my nails for a full 4 days before I removed. I had one tiny chip on my right had when I removed it but it was because I slammed my hand into a table edge at work.Rescue Beauty Lounge colors are available on her website. Each polish retails for between $18 and $20, which is definitely not in everybody's price range. However, it holds the same quality for me as brands like Deborah Lippmann do, especially within her creme finish polishes, so I feel the price is worth it.
Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel though, as I'll be having a RBL giveaway soon!
