Insouciant is a grayed lavender creme with a vibrant blue shimmer. It reminds me quite a bit of the shimmer you see in Takko Lacquer - it still has that delicate feel that the other shimmers that I've shown has. It's not a strong shimmer, but I think it adds to the dreaminess of the base color. It's very modern elegance in a bottle to me.
The formula was opaque in one coat to two coats. Here in the photos I have 2 coats, so you can see that even if it's layered, it doesn't look too thick. These polishes also don't feel thick or heavy on the nail either when you layer them, which is something that I haven't mentioned yet in the other swatch posts.
Rescue Beauty Lounge colors are available on her website. Each polish retails for between $18 and $20, which is definitely not in everybody's price range. However, it holds the same quality for me as brands like Deborah Lippmann do, especially within her creme finish polishes, so I feel the price is worth it.
Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel though, as I'll be having a RBL giveaway soon!
