Butter London Wallace | Swatches & Review!
Anyways, today I have Wallace from Butter London, which is a rich olive green with a warm gold shimmer running through it. It's shimmer is so strong that sometimes it even looks metallic on the nail; light reflects of it beautifully and gives it an amazing extra dimension. It's opaque in 2 coats and glides on the nail effortlessly. It's definitely a prime example of what makes Butter London's formula so good (most of the time, sometimes the formula can get God-awful which I'll get to in a later post).
In the photo I have 2 coats with the HK Girl top coat. For a base coat I used Orly's Bonder and this polish stayed on my nails for 3 days without any signs of wear or chipping (not every swatch post will have this info btw - as most of the swatches I'll have as just swatches and not a full NOTW review).
Usually I pull this polish out in the fall since it's definitely got more of a fall/Thanksgiving feel to it, but it was a nice change to pull out in the Summer. It plays really well with the Summer sun and just glows :)
You can purchase Butter London at Ulta, Nordstrom and other stores that sell department store brands. Fun fact, you can purchase Butter London at the Bookstore on San Francisco State's Campus. I hope you guys enjoy the steady stream of swatches you're going to start getting here!
