NOTW: Contrary Polish "Better Together"
I've had this polish in my stash for a while, and it sort of satiated that need for a while. I found this on Llarowe while browsing a few months ago, again because a teal shimmer in a gray was one of my most needed color combos. I'm still looking for the exact shade of gray that I want, but this one does very well for now :)
Better Together is a slate gray creme with a teal shimmer and a silver microglitter running through it. It's opaque in 2 coats and was very easy to work with. Before putting on a top coat, it doesn't dry super glossy, so a top coat is needed to really pull out the shimmer. The shimmer also comes out much better outside in the sun than inside in artificial light.
Here I used OPI Nail Envy and HK Girl's Fast Dry Top Coat. It lasted for about 3 days before tip wear started to show, and I removed it for a different manicure.
Contrary Polish is available on Llarowe. I own another Contrary Polish that has the same teal shimmer, and I think both polishes perform well!
Are there any polishes or color combos that you are seeking out at the moment?
