NOTW: Colors by Llarowe "Blonde Ambition" | Swatches & Review!

School's out for winter break. I've bought a bunch of Sharks tickets. I've painted my nails. I've posted a video. I'm feeling pretty rad right now :)
Today I'm sharing Llarowe's "Blonde Ambition" from the Summer 2014 Colors By Llarowe collection. It's a really pretty light taupe with slight pink undertones and a massively vibrant holo. It's stunning.
I first saw this on Instagram and pretty much stopped in my tracks, screencapped it and put it on the very top of my CBL wishlist. It looks even better in person! You can purchase it for $12 on the Llarowe website, and here's the direct link.
The formula was fantastic - she's definitely ironed out the original formula issues, which was basically just a slight thickness in the polishes, and has now made consistently fabulous polishes. I get great wear out of them, like a week without chipping, average, and the polishes glide on effortlessly. They're pretty much all opaque within 2 coats.
I own a lot of holographic polishes but I'm happy to say that I only own a few "neutral" holos. I really love the way that it looks - simple but fun.
Do you guys have any shades of holos that you particularly like?

Essie California Coral | Swatches & Review!

Whaaaaaaattttttt? I'm posting a nail polish reviewwwwww???????
Guess that means the semester is over ;)
So a while back I started swatching all of my Essie nail polishes. Let's pick up where we left off. Corals!
California Coral is a pink toned coral with warm undertones. It pulls a little bit more red in person - the picture above definitely makes it seem pinker than in real life.
It's a creme finish and is representative of Essie's amazing creme formulas - opaque in 2 coats, goes on smooth and dries very shiny.
This is part of Essie's permanent collection and you can purchase Essie polishes at all drugstores across the U.S.
I happen to really like pink toned corals on me so this is one of my favorites to pull from. Generally, orange toned corals are not my favorite, so the pink ones always satiate my need to wear coral.
Do you guys have a specific type of coral you like? Any recommendations? Let me know in the comments down below!
