Superchic Lacquer | Haul & Review!

Instagram is a deadly, deadly place if you're on a "no buy". Or, conversely, it's a lovely, lovely place if you're looking for some inspiration.
Recently, Instagram has been providing me a lot of inspiration, shopping wise. The first piece of evidence towards this, would be all of the new polishes I've bought, starting with Superchic Lacquers.
Holly, Zenorah, Lindsay, and Jess are all completely responsible for this. They've been raving about Superchic Lacquers for a while so I finally decided to pick a few up. Seriously, seeing all of their swatches was like a daily reminder that I needed to get these polishes.
I bought five polishes off of Superchic Lacquer's Etsy site:
  • Little Vampy Riding Hood - rich dark red base with a copper shimmer. There's also a holo shimmer sprinkled in.
  • Liquid Nitro Queen - the base sits right between lavender and periwinkle. Mixed in there's a flash of very strong, bright, green shimmer, and then there's also a holo glitter.
  • Royal Pain In The Ice - royal blue with the same green shimmer from Liquid Nitro Queen. There's also the same holo glitter mixed in.
  • Stoked And Cloaked For The Bifrost - bright, grape candy like base with a blue shimmer running through it, as well as holo glitter.
  • Witches Agenda For Uberness - black base with a strong blue glass fleck shimmer. There's also a really slight holo shimmer mixed in.
The formula for all of these is very thin. But! It's not at all in a bad way. The base for all of the polishes I purchased had a jelly-ness to them so when they layered up, you got a crazy amount of depth without losing any elements of the polish. For me, these polishes were all opaque within 3 coats. Because of the texture of the polish, the 3 coats don't provide a heavy, or goopy finish on the nail at all.
Superchic Lacquers retail for $10 each, and can be purchased here. I had a great experience, service wise. The polishes were sent to me within a business week (so 5 business days). As they're based out of California, I think I got them on the earlier side, but I received the polishes safely, and had a smooth transaction overall.
I'll definitely be keeping my eye out on this brand :)
